Today our daughter has gone to Jesus already

Even if I don't know her family personally, I have followed her story ever since her parents created the page "Courageous Caitie" on Facebook. I was touched by how much faith this little family has to the Lord and I witnessed how much hope they have that their little girl will get well.
I am in tears, possibly because I am a mother and I don't know what I'll do if I'm in the shoes of Mrs. Lucas. I am in tears, possibly because I am a parent and I can't even imagine what Mr. Lucas is going through right now. I am in tears, possibly because I can't even think how the parents feel to see their child gone.
During times of hardships, I have many times questioned my faith and seeing them, the Lucas family, fight and remain faithful, I feel ashamed of doubting. I am thankful for Caitie because this little girl taught me what courage means. Why doubt when you are in powerful hands?
My deepest condolences to Jay Jay and Feliz Lucas and I hope you find healing in these trying times. Rest now, little Caitie, you will no longer feel pain. You are now with Jesus and He knows how to keep you safe.
You smiled for me always... Now smile for Jesus Caitie #courageouscaitie
