Home Sweet Home... Soon.

When we visited our lot in Ampid, my husband and I were extremely happy with the progress. There are now concrete roads, NAWASA pipeline, and we can already see where the playground and open areas will be.

With these progress in sight, my husband and I can finally predict that we can build our home in a year or two. And yes, I am very excited about being the queen of my own castle after five years of living with my in-laws. It took awhile but we don't mind as long as we are in no hurry to build the house of our dreams.

We are already in our third year of paying the lot and in a year or two, we can finally acquire the title. It is a long process but it makes the end result sweeter because we are able to choose which house design to build.

My husband prefers a modern zen type of design, which is what you will commonly see in the Philippines nowadays. There are so many available designs online, like the one we saw in CM Builders, but of course, we are still undecided.

I, on the other hand, prefers a modern cottage look because I believe it will make our house look cozy and dreamy. Yes, I am a romantic at heart and yes, it would be best if I can have the white picket fence as well. But of course, Dydy shares it will not be as secured if our house will be very open.

Oh well, we still have a year or two to finalize our plans. I do hope we'll have enough money to build it though. Keeping our faith with the Lord!
