My husband is a HUGE basketball fan and because of this, he really wants Z to learn and play basketball. Unfortunately,
MILO BEST only accepts kids five years and older so Z is still a year short from this requirement. This is also the reason why we enrolled him in swimming lessons instead.

Although we were a bit disappointed that Z can't enroll this year, we're truly looking forward to have his basketball training next year as he's a big basketball fan too. In fact, whenever there is a Golden State game, he'd ask his daddy to switch the channel to NBA TV. Good thing I understand and adore basketball too because if I'm a different mommy, I would have been left out of the conversion.
Luckily or perhaps it's serendipity, I learned about the
Coach J Hoop Camp from someone on my Facebook friends list. As it turns out, she's the wife of the organizer who will coach the kids in the clinic.
The basketball clinic already began yesterday so I had to immediately send a message to my friend and ask if Z can still register. I am very glad that it is still open for registration and what more, PBA players will grace the practice sessions to help out in the coaching! I am very excited for Z!
We'll start his basketball lessons next week and we'll see where it goes.
